After lunch we went to the Ruby Zoisite location and stopped to search for Chalcedony Roses. Ann found one almost four inches in diameter.
After leaving there we drive back to the DQ and in the tradition of T More had desert before dinner.
We then drove to the north side of the Cady's, an area Allan and I pre-ran last year and couldn't find a thing. What a difference it makes to go with someone who has been before. We discovered two new sites.
We showed Jay, our trip leader, who was trying to find his way to the site Allan and I found last year. I showed him the way in where we got some material before returning to camp for a pot luck dinner.
We got a call from Paul Hartley who will be joining us Sunday.
