Burro Creek

Field Trip
Mar 23, 24, and 25th. Meet at the store/gas station in Wikieup at 10am on the 23rd. If we miss each other go to the Burro Creek camp ground, approx 10 miles south of Wikieup. This is a BLM camp ground. When you cross the Burro Creek (very high) bridge the entrance to the camp ground will be approx. a half mile south of the bridge on the right side of the Hwy. The road winds down a few miles to the camp ground. Camping is $10.00 per night, per space.
There are flush toilets and water near the entrance, also a dump for RV's.
We will be looking for Apache Tears in the afternoon on the 23rd.
I'll be leaving the camp ground at 8:30am sharp on the 24th. We will be going to the main collecting site.
Sunday morning, I will leave the camp ground at 8:30 Am for a collecting area south of Bagdad, AZ
Remember there is gas at Wikieup and there should be gas at Bagdad.
Please bring your food, drinks, firewood...tools: hammer ,collecting bags , flashlight, and good humor.
Lets all have a great time! Oh, don't forget your bug spray. Linda
